Position Summary
The Application Development Manager’s position is to establish the role, function, duties and responsibilities of the Project Team, prioritize and assign tasks, identify risk, report status and evaluate staff. Manage day to day activities surrounding maintenance, support and enhancements for assigned business applications under Finance, Marketing, and Member Services..
Organize and provide the plan and the means on which to base management decisions throughout the life of a project. Manage multiple projects through the system development life cycle.
Position Description
Project Management •Manages the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale projects. •Oversees project managers working on assigned business objectives and goals. •Reviews high-level deliverables across projects. •Ensures System development follows published standards and procedures (SDLC). •Evaluates and minimizes exposure and risk across multiple projects. •Mentors, coaches, and manages team performance by establishing goals and objectives. •Collaborates with other Application Managers on project development and task plans to assigned resources, validate time lines, and technology platforms.
Project and Technical •Working knowledge of business application systems and interfaces. •Has familiarity of latest technologies which support applications. •Manages project scope and deliverables and ensures meeting company objective. •Ensures quality and adherence to company standards and procedures for development and production systems.
