This position is responsible for coordinating the development for the IT strategy, supporting sub-strategies, Enterprise Architecture strategy and supporting architecture designs (current and future). This requires partnering and working cross functionally across all aspects of IT as well as working across multiple business units at senior executive and management levels. Responsible for understanding key IT trends, leading discussions regarding applicability of new technology as well as incorporating it into the overall development and delivery of the IT strategy, architecture and strategic initiatives. • Responsible for the development and implementation of the IT strategy• Partners with key business leaders to build and maintain a solid understanding of the business strategies and priorities• Partners with members of the IT Leadership Team to ensure that the IT strategy supports the business strategy• Partners with other IT leaders to coordinate cross functional assessments, capabilities and/or management of delivery of services to help IT realize greater business value from the IT organization and investments• Responsible for the development of Enterprise Architecture (EA) for the IT current and future states, leveraging core investment platforms and emerging technology trends and future capabilities that support the overall IT strategy• Supervises and develops staff and departmental capabilities in line with succession planning, technical proficiency and general skill set enhancement that supports the IT and innovation strategies• Responsible for investigating business opportunities such as multi-sourcing, targeting new technologies and coordinating the evaluation across IT• Lead the cross functional Technical Architecture Review team to evaluate architecture for new enhancements• Responsible for the IT innovation function in support of business innovation program • Responsible for Vendor management function that supports all vendor negotiation, agreements and contracts
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field• Masters degree preferred• 12+ years work experience in IT including IT strategy development, IT applications and operations and Enterprise Architecture. Minimum of 5 years leadership experience including direct supervision of IT staff.• Demonstrated ability for development of global IT strategic plans including SWOT analysis, strategic priorities, capabilities and multi year plans with supporting IT operating plans • Ability to translate complex business strategies and needs into IT strategic priorities that leverage IT trends and emerging technologies while integrating existing enterprise architectures, platforms and master data• Ability to consolidate complex existing IS environmental descriptions into an existing Enterprise Architecture for a current state architecture and the development of an ongoing future state Enterprise Architecture• Experience partnering with wide variety of business and IT levels and global experience backgrounds• Solid understanding and experience of project management methodologies• Comprehensive understanding of enterprise funding and IT governance and prioritization processes• Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with customers / clients• Must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality• Must possess a drive for excellence and a get-it-done attitude while being mindful of existing organizational knowledge and platforms• Experience in multi-facility, international organizations with diverse multi-cultures
