Reporting to our Regional Organizations, our country organizations support Philips’ Product Divisions and businesses at a local level. It’s a varied role. You may be involved in ensuring the alignment and smooth-running of our core corporate processes within the country where you work. Or in activities with national governments, institutions, media and the public, helping to create an environment where Philips can operate successfully. Or you may work on identifying new business opportunities, applying your understanding of local needs and lifestyles to help us grow important new markets.

This position is part of Sector Finance & Accounting with the primary objective of providing accurate, transparent, and timely financial and non-financial data & analysis to support the Sector Executive management decision-making process.
• Perform and prepare monthly financial
consolidation process for the Sector, including analyses related to all financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) & other Key statistical items.
• Lead key Sector projects (e.g. accounting policies, reporting changes)
• Assist in the management of corporate, business and region relationships in order to facilitate proper information flow to Sector headquarters.
• Actively participate in cross Sector coordination meetings when Consolidation director is not able to attend representing Healthcare and communicating back relevant policies and procedures.
• Technical expert for complex consolidation issues (e.g. foreign currency development & inter-company profit elimination)
• Lead the technical development of the AOP and Rolling Forecast consolidation process.
• Coordinate maintenance of the Sector financial master data including organizational hierarchies and restatements.
• Provide training to newly acquired companies in relation to the consolidation process.  

• Understanding and executing the consolidation process of over 130 organizational reporting units, none of which report directly to this position.
• Coordinating changes in a complex master data set for a $10billion enterprise
• Becoming the technical expert for Inter-company profit elimination and other complex consolidation areas
• Understanding and providing high level checks on all consolidated financial statements

Your Responsibilities:
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and comfortable interacting with middle, senior & executive management.  Strength in financial statement preparation and consolidation

Your Profile:
MBA with finance and accounting professional qualifications and minimum 5 years related working experience in accounting or financial control function.
