Position Description The Building Systems Coordinator in Toronto district is responsible for the mechanical and electrical systems of some of the largest most complex buildings. This position reports to either the District Building Systems Manager or Superintendent.
Position Requirements Responsibilities essential to this position include:• Providing support to superintendents, project managers and estimators in the areas of: site co-ordination, schedules, meetings and budgeting.• Providing an on-site commissioning role between the mechanical, electrical and other building trade divisions.• Coordinating life safety demonstrations and occupancy reviews with city officials. Familiarity with various building codes is an asset. • Oversee all mechanical/electrical trades for adherence to drawings, specifications, quality, schedule, progress claims.• Ensures sufficient training is provided to building operators on all mechanical, electrical, communication, and life safety issues.
