Position Description We are looking for Project Managers to join our Toronto district team. Project Managers in the Toronto district provide administrative direction for one large or several smaller projects. This position reports to the Construction Manager and is responsible for the overall project performance including costs, schedule, quality and project status.
Position Requirements Responsibilites essential to this position include:• Assisting the superintendent in establishing project safety & environment programs, developing and monitoring the schedule and budget, in establishing the construction plan and engineering methods.• Understanding and enforcing contractual responsibilities, contract documents and resolving disputes. • Managing the change order process; including negotiating, processing, and assessing cost and schedule impact. • Efficiently managing project meetings. • Managing all facets of project close-out; including archiving of documents, maintenance and warranty manuals, deficiencies and warranty work. • Supervising, mentoring, coaching and training project personnel.
