Position Description Superintendents in the PCL Toronto district are responsible for managing all of the field construction on a small to large project, or they may direct an area of a major project. This position reports to either the Construction Manager or General Superintendent, and is responsible for all field aspects of the project's budget, schedule and general performance.
Position Requirements Responsibilities essential to this position include:• Manages and provides leadership for safety and environmental programs.• Supervises and mentors all field personnel.• Plans and implements the construction plan, including the schedules and site logistics.• Manages and maintains all field administration; including, time sheets, purchase orders and daily job diaries.• Organizes and coordinates all subcontractor activities.• Coordinates all manpower, materials and equipment.
