Position Description We are looking for Field Engineers to join our Toronto district team. This position reports to either the Superintendent or Project Manager, and is responsible for assisting the Superintendent and/or Project Manager in producing, providing and coordinating all information necessary for the smooth running of the project.
Position Requirements Responsibilities essential to this position include: • Assisting in implementing and monitoring the quality control, safety and environment programs. • Quantity surveying, quantity review and system input. • Coordinating of field details, site inspections and liaising with field subcontractors/consultants. • Preparing and maintaining the project schedules. • Setting-up and maintaining the filing system.• Establishing, maintaining and monitoring document control logs. • Assisting in preparation of labour reports and cost reports. • Coordinating and assisting with information distribution to subcontractors and own forces. • Coordinating inspection duties and assisting in formwork design, preparing layout and lift drawings.
