Position Description We are always looking to recruit experienced Field Engineers, Project Coordinators and Project Managers for our team.Project Manager:The successful candidate will provide overall administrative direction for one large or several smaller projects; will be responsible for overall project performance including costs, schedule, quality, project status and maintaining an excellent relationship with subtrades and clients. This person may oversee the operations of a project coordinator or project engineer. A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial building with a general contractor is required. Project Coordinator:We are looking for project coordinators to assist our project managers with overall administrative direction for one large or several smaller projects. You will be responsible for assisting with overall project performance, including costs, schedule, quality and project status.
Position Requirements A university degree or college diploma in civil engineering or construction management is required. Experience working for a general contractor in a commercial environment or experience in the field is preferred. Journeyman carpenter ticket an asset.Project Managers require essential skills in:• planning • safety • scheduling • communication • forecasting/costing • leadership • contract management • value engineering Project Coordinator require but are not limited to the following skills: • define scopes of work • read blue prints • assemble estimates • complete quantity surveys • plan and schedule • forecast • issue change orders, notices, revisions • know safety practices • review shop drawings • understand contracts
