Job Summary Based on a heavy industrial project site, we are currently seeking career minded professionals to join our Health, Safety and Environment project team. Successful candidates will be responsible for: • Incident reporting;• Conducting site safety orientations ;• Team building; and • Providing safety minded leadership in accordance with the company, site and legislated safety standards.With an extensive history of supporting large crews, a well versed knowledge of current industry practices, the ability to be a member of a fast paced, hard working team, applicants must be able to commit to the current project schedule of 10 day on followed by 4 days off. Applicants must be reliable, able to perform under stressful conditions, and the willing to work both day and night shifts.
Responsibilities Applicants must possess a Construction Safety Officer designation, Occupational Health and Safety certificate, or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Preference will be given to those with a journeyman construction trade certification.
