PCL Intracon Power Inc. is a diversified electrical/instrumentation industrial construction company servicing the oil and gas, petrochemical, mining, power, and pulp and paper industries throughout North America.


PCL Intracon Power Inc. is seeking experienced Electrical Superintendents to join one of our project sites in Fort McMurray, Alberta; or Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.


Reporting to the Operations Manager, the qualified individuals are responsible for all field aspects of the project’s budget, schedule, safety, and general performance. This includes:



  • Mentoring, coaching, and supervising unionized foremen/field personnel

  • Selecting construction methodology

  • Directing subcontractor coordination

  • Promoting safe work practices and ensuring all work is completed safely

  • Overseeing that all work is of high quality

  • Ensuring company and client procedures are being met


Applicants interested in joining our team must have a minimum of 7 years field experience and be effective in a supervisory role. Additionally, applicants must have:



  • Journeyperson Electricians or Master Electricians, or Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician

  • Superior mentoring skills

  • A strong attention to detail

  • Proven problem resolution skills

  • Superior interpersonal skills

  • An in-depth knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code

  • Familiarity with the various Microsoft Office applications


 


This is a project site based position with flights and camp accommodations or living out and travel allowances provided. Candidates must be willing to commit to the project schedule of ten 10-hour days followed by four days off.
