We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our Waco, TX plant.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Installs, repairs, erects, dismantles, assembles and maintains all types of plant machinery, equipment, structures, and electrical or electronic equipment and component parts.

  • Works from complex blue prints, wiring diagrams, shop hand books, layouts and other specifications.

  • Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical or electronic principles, wiring specification codes, and properties of various materials.

  • Welds, brazes, scrapes, solders, cuts, etc. various types of metals necessary for maintenance repairs and fabrication.

  • Performs a variety of trade functions such as a plumber, mason, carpenter and sheet metal worker, etc.


  • Must possess a current Journeyman electrical or Journeyman electro mechanical license AND/OR have 5 years of minimum industrial electrical mechanical experience and 2 years of electro-mechanic training or degree.

  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate using English language.

  • Must be able to pass mechanical skills test in order to be considered

  • Experience with 440/480v electrical components

  • High School Graduate or GED

  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs. on a regular basis

  • Must be able to work a rotating schedule, with weekend and holiday requirements

    Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

    Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
