Position Description
The role of the operator is primarily to verify product specs with equipment settings, monitor the equipment as it operates, monitor the process-pace/productivity, and recognize when something is out of adjustment.  Operators are responsible for making minor corrections to the process and equipment and for recognizing when a technician or engineer is needed, in addition to making suggestions for improvement to productivity.  There is no direct exposure to chemicals.  A bunny suit is necessary to protect hair, flakes of skin, etc from contaminating the product (wafers). Computer/Software related tasks: Process diagnosis and interpretation using Statistical Process Control- SPC, methodology.  Perform production processes in accordance with documented specifications and production schedules –will require utilization of CAM/CIM (Computer Automated Manufacturing) systems to perform job duties.
 
Position Requirements
Requires High school diploma or GED.  Prior semiconductor experience preferred.  Must be able to work a 12 hour compressed shift in a clean room environment.  Requires hard working, flexible team player with superior attention to detail and computer knowledge.  The position is for compressed day or night shift, 12 hours per day – 3 days one week, 4 days the next.
