Position Description
Primary responsibility is for instrumentation and controls, PLCs and SCADA systems. Install, operate and maintain facilities related equipment such as HVAC, instrumentation/controls, electrical and other mechanical systems as well as general building maintenance. Perform PM’s and inspections on facilities equipment and systems. Operation of all facilities equipment via local controllers and the Facilities Monitor and Control System. Troubleshoot and repair failed equipment and systems. Be the primary interface to service vendors. May be requested to join the emergency response team. Will be required to work a compressed work week and may be required to work nights.
 
Position Requirements
Must have a current Oregon class LME electrical license or higher and 4 years of industry experience.  Must be able to lift 40 pounds. Comprehension of mechanical/electrical blueprints. Be able to use standard hand and power tools, material handling equipment, test and calibration equipment. Knowledge of instrument calibrations, PLC ladder logic and SCADA systems including trouble shooting and maintenance of these systems. Allen-Bradly, Intellution, Metasys and Yokogawa DCS experience is preferred.
