Position Summary:
The Pharmacy Technician assists in performing manipulative and non-discretionary functions associated with the practice of pharmacy under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This is a staff level position working under direct supervision of a pharmacist. Work situations are a variety of routine duties and functions that require organization and attention to detail.
Minimum Requirements:
Two years hospital experience preferred.
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Successful completion of WA Board of Pharmacy approved Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Current Washington State Board of Pharmacy Technician License. Successful Completion of National Pharmacy Technician Certification Program preferred.
Washington State Driver’s License and acceptable driving records in accordance with MHS standards (for MMA positions). CPR card.
