Position Summary
The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for treating patients according to the treatment program set up by the Physical Therapist.

Minimum Requirements
Able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing to patients, patient's families, staff and physicians. Ability to read basic documentation forms for charting purposes and read medical record. Ability to work well with others.  Ability to support patients weighing 150+ lbs. Ability to stand for 1-2 hours at a time and move about the facility freely.  Ability to stoop and kneel for short periods throughout the day.  Ability to identify occupational hazards and use safety precautions.  Ability to use therapeutic modalities.  Competent in evaluation and treatment skills of primary patient diagnostic groups of service area in which working (ie. Orthopedics, neurological rehabilitation, work rehabilitation).

Education/Licenses/Certifications
Graduate of an Accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
