Posting Description

LINQ PROGRAMS COORDINATOR, Institute for Medical Engineering and Science (IMES), responsible for overseeing the logistical, administrative, and strategic functions that ensure seamless execution of MIT linQ programs. Will provide a proactive, solutions-oriented professional with the authority to independently design workflows, resolve operational challenges, and implement systems that enhance program efficiency and impact. Key Responsibilities include coordinating day-to-day operations, managing remote and in-person events, and providing comprehensive administrative support to faculty, fellows, and advisory panels. Will serve as primary point of contact for program participants and strategic support to Professor Martha Gray, IMES Faculty and LinQ Director. Additional responsibilities encompass developing program data collection methods, analyzing metrics to optimize outcomes, managing participant records and onboarding, and contributing to program strategic planning. Will assist with recruitment and engagement strategies, including social media presence, recruiting campaigns, and stakeholder communications. Manages program finances including requisitions, travel reports, honorariums, and vendor coordination per MIT guidelines.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience; a minimum of two years' experience in administrative operations or program coordination, preferably in academic or research settings; excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills; event planning experience in professional environments; proficiency with scheduling tools and remote collaboration platforms (Zoom, Slack, Google Drive, Basecamp, etc.); ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments and work occasional evenings/weekends; and maintain consistent engagement and accessibility throughout work hours. PREFERRED: Executive calendar management and administrative support experience.
