INVESTMENT PROFESSIONAL, MIT Investment Management Company (MITIMCo), to conduct research on financial markets, investment strategies, and portfolio theory. Will develop and use analytical tools to aid in the investment process; research and evaluate existing and prospective money managers; participate in the due diligence process including performance market research to understand investment strategies, evaluating historic investment performance, and reference checking; perform regular monitoring to review portfolio exposures and risk factors; participate in manager meetings to review portfolios; and help prepare materials for presentation to the MITIMCo board. Will spend a portion of time meeting with and evaluating the world's most elite investment firms in an effort to find the best stewards of capital for MIT's financial assets.  

MITIMCo - - is a leading investment management firm which invests exclusively on behalf of MIT to support its educational and research mission. Analysts are part of a team that engages in portfolio management, asset allocation, and general market and investment strategy research across all investment asset classes. The position offers a high-level of exposure to major investment decisions.

REQUIRED:  bachelor's degree; a demonstrated balance of superior quantitative and qualitative skills; exceptional verbal and written communication skills; leadership skills; ability to work successfully in team environments; and a track record of achievement and excellence that includes the ability to make significant contributions as a member of a small institutional investing team. Some global travel will be required.
