Assist in the management of a single software system integration project to include overall success of an implementation from inception to installation, including managing project scope, design, deliverables, issue escalation and resolution. Work closely with cross function teams including sales, R&D, product development and related. Ensure the development of professional client relationships, client satisfaction, and referencability. Manage means by which to quantify metrics for success at go-live and thereafter. Identify critical business, technical, and/or operational issues and drive issues to closure. Develop internal guidelines and create/implement best practices. Manage the technical aspects of enterprise level software implementations with the assistance of project technical resources. Contribute to the continuous development of Manhattan Associates’ software implementation methodology. Ensure the project team: proactively identifies and troubleshoots critical issues, maintains and prioritizes project issue lists, suggests solutions, and escalates when appropriate.
- Bachelors or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, business or a related field
- 5 years of experience in related field.
- Experience working in a client/customer facing role within a supply chain or software organization
- Up to 50% travel required.
- 4 years of experience deploying software
- Experience with database troubleshooting (SQL)
- 2 years of Order Management experience
- Experience leading teams in design and implementation of software-based solutions
- Experience in mentoring junior team members
- Exposure to agile development models
