Position Description
George Weston Bakeries is now part of Bimbo Bakeries USA. We are a 4 billion dollar fresh baked goods company with such brands as Arnold, Thomas, Entenmann's, Tia Rosa, Bimbo, Freihofer's, Stroehmann, Marinela, Boboli, Mrs. Bairds and more. Responsibilities leading your Team to produce the highest quality lowest cost Bread and Thomas English Muffin in the safest and cleanest environment. Through leadership and support of IPM initiatives, the Resource Leader is charged with empowering their Team to meet high standards and expectations, supporting the Servant Leadership culture and managing in a fast change environment. Additionally, the successful candidate will be challenged with controlling production costs and downtime, monitoring production and finished products, and maintaining a high level of communications with their Team and other Teams in the facility.
Position Requirements
• Empower Technicians on your Team to achieving the Plants KPI’s. • Generate and input dough and wrap schedules maximizing shift productivity. • Generate reports through quality system to measure daily production to plant goals. Review production conformance reports to ensure employees are adhering to standard operating procedures. • Coordinate schedules with sales and shipping departments and adjust orders accordingly to maintain a constant production flow. • Drive quality improvement and removing waste from all facets and processes in the facility; utilize IPM, Functional Teams and Lean process tools to achieve. • Report accurate counts for tracking labor, waste and damaged product on a daily basis. • Ensure production lines are adequately crewed with qualified employees to complete each scheduled order.
