The Opportunity
This forward thinking banking organisation is going through a sustained period of growth. They possess a solid reputation within the business banking SME segment and beyond. As a result of this growth they are currently looking to recruit experienced business bankers for the greater Brisbane region.
As the business banking manager you will be required to:
- Proactively manage and grow a set of business banking clientele with lending requirement >$1million and >$5million exposure
- To market the banks lending products to the middle markets sector within the locale
To be considered you will need to be able to demonstrate a history of success developing new business within the $1mil - $15mil market. You will need an excellent understanding of credit and the full suite of lending products available. In addition you need to have a good understanding of the issues that businesses face in the Brisbane sector and be able to tailor win-win solutions for the customer and the bank.
Possessing first class negotiation skills will be vital as you will be called upon to compete and win business not solely based on price. Your main strengths will be service, turnaround time, accessibility to branches and a wide range of products to holistically manage client’s entire financial needs locally.
A minimum of 2 years experience managing your own portfolio of business banking customer and proven results would be advantageous; to show the initiatives you have instilled enabling growth of the portfolio in customer numbers and revenue. Existing relationships with brokers and referrers will be very highly regarded.
