Task Description:

As a Senior Service Design Engineer, you will be asked to :

  • Design and negotiate solutions for new and existing customer interconnections, guaranteeing optimal cost and usage of network resources and to update guidelines and share these with the team;
  • Drive end-to-end customer interconnection projects; responsible for the design phase and follow-up of the implementation & validation, in close collaboration with the customer;

  • Drive the implementation of all end-to-end projects relative to the interconnection in order to reach the shortest possible lead times with the best quality;

  • Gives support to Regional Technical Managers and Engineering for network improvements (cost and redundancy);

  • Provide technical expertise to the Regional Technical Manager for “Request for proposal” answering;

  • Order local tails/patches and ensure delivery follow-up;

  • Ensure that all agreements with customers are completely and correctly documented  and update processes and guidelines;

  • Collaborate with ITP on process review and tools development;

  • Translate high level agreement into Detailed Technical Proposals to the customer.

Your Profile:

  • You have a bachelor degree in ICT;

  • Minimum experience:  4 to 6 years in a relevant sector;

  • Strong customer focus;

  • Good analytical skills ;

  • Able to take initiative, flexible and stress resistant;

  • Team spirit, good collaboration  with others ;

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken ;

  • Strong technology and product knowledge in the area of telecom;

  • Fluent English is a must.  Fluent in at least French or Dutch.
