You define and optimize the BICS E2E testing strategy, testing methodology, testing tool and processes in collaboration with the relevant team leaders covering all the testing aspects (ITT, UAT, E2E testing merging IT software and E2E business scenario) and performance test (load and stress test);
You estimate and obtain management support for the time, resources and budget required to perform the testing;
You assign the tasks to all Testing Team members in line with BICS’ delivery plan and program/projects priorities;
You manage, coach and motivate a testing team of professionals (local, near shore and offshore) in order for the team to perform in the most efficient manner. You are responsible for developing the training and career plan for the various team members, build and expand the relevant expertise within the team;
You ensure the timely delivery of different testing milestones across projects and programs;
You are responsible to make sure that the ITT/UAT/Production environment are available on time;
You handle escalated issues, solve problems, trigger, steer and coordinate the required actions with other teams;
You ensure that testing risks within the programs/projects are being appropriately identified, reported and managed (e.g. performance of platforms and systems, Users availability , E2E uses cases);
You ensure efficient and effective communication and networking with other teams and departments within BICS or other internal and external stakeholders.
You ensure qualitative and quantitative relevant ad hoc and periodic management reporting on progress of team activities;
You prepare, update and consolidate the testing dashboard (Testing KPI);
You drive and contribute to lessons learned to improve Testing and program/project efficiency.
You have a Bachelor degree and 5 to 6 years of experience within the area of Software Development Testing, experience in the telecom industry is considered as a plus;
You have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Test Team Lead or a Head of Testing;
You are able to motivate and engage remote and culturally diverse teams;
You have excellent interpersonal & communication skills;
You can take decisions and you are a keen problem solver;
You have an eye for detail and great analytical skills;
You are ready to make short trips abroad about 3 times a year;
You are fluent in English and French or Dutch;
