Job Description

Background
The Silicon Technology group engages in the silicon validation of the library products offered by ARM PIPD division. Currently we are working on test chips aimed to validate libraries using the cutting-edge process technologies from leading foundries around the world. The product engineering position is required to debug problems encountered in silicon validation of the library products. In this role, you will also interact with end-users of our products in solving silicon implementation problems. Some of these end users are world class companies involved in creating exciting applications in all segments of the electronics market. Role

• Perform silicon failure (FA) analysis on products of ARM Physical IP Division that includes SRAM, ROM, Standard Cell, and I/O libraries; The failure analysis work will be either on internal test chips or external customer silicon related issues.
  
• Coordinate and interact with design engineering, customer support and project management groups on FA issues; Communicate FA status and provide feedback based on FA results to other organizations of PIPD.
  
• Work with Test Chip Design and Test Engineering groups on publishing test chip reports and help to resolve issues related to these reports.
  
• Interact with Foundries on IP or Test Chip FA issues and prepare FA reports if necessary.
  
• Perform .Lib Correlation.
  

Job Requirements

Desirable Skills

• HSpice simulation and knowledge of common EDA tools(Verilog simulation, IR drop analysis) for chip design.
  
• ATE testing and bench testing helpful
  
• Knowledge of common physical failure localization analysis methods and techniques.
  
• Knowledge on Foundry process parameter
