<b>Introduction</b>
ARM is the world’s leading semiconductor IP company and designs the technology that lies at the heart of advanced digital products.  Support for the latest ARM architecture innovations by the software community is seminal to the continued success of ARM’s core business.  The Physical IP Division's Design Automation group is responsible for developing and promoting the software for development of Physical IP at ARM.  The group is currently seeking a motivated student to complete a software engineering internship in San Jose, CA.

<b>Job Purpose</b>
The Software Engineering Intern will work on projects in support of the Design Automation group’s activities.  These activities will include validating and developing code for memory characterization software.

<b>Accountabilities</b>
<ul><li>Develop scripts and software for the memory characterization tool
<li>Validation of the software </ul>



Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Programming experience in C
  • Ability to create/modify build scripts (Perl, C-shell, etc.)
  • Ability to adapt to fast paced development projects
    .
