ARM’s comprehensive processor product offering includes RISC CPUs, graphics processors (GPUs) and video processors (VPUs), enabling software, cell libraries, embedded memories, high-speed connectivity products, peripherals and development tools. A world leader in intellectual property design, ARM’s success is based on licensing agreements with many of the biggest names in consumer electronics and semiconductor manufacturing.


The hardware teams are characterized by extremely capable engineers working on designing and verifying leading edge microprocessor cores, graphics engines, system components and platforms. Our engineers need to constantly push the power, performance and area boundaries while generating designs that are robust, maintainable and deliverable to the high quality that our customers expect. Graduate engineers will have responsibilities that cover all areas of the design and verification process: working closely with customers, architectural design and modelling, writing specifications, design and simulation, verification of functionality, generating deliverables and maintenance of designs.


Good university degree, ideally in electronic engineering or computer science, although other graduates would be considered if they have relevant experience.

• Assembly language programming, ideally in ARM assembler
• Knowledge of microprocessor or graphics processor fundamentals
• Knowledge of microprocessor based systems
• Programming language, such as 'C', C++.
• Use of UNIX and shell programming.
