Introduction

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Aid in evaluating applications for patenting
• Assist in maintaining patent taxonomy database and patent concordance database
• Evaluate patents asserted by third parties against ARM technology
• Assist both in-house and external counsel in defending ARM technology
• Perform prior art searches



Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Essential Skills & Experience

• Registered Patent Agent or is eligible to take the USPTO Patent Bar Examination with experience in patent litigation or patent prosecution
• 15 years of experience in the field of embedded microprocessors or graphics
• Prior experience applying for one or more patents on technology in the embedded microprocessor field
• Excellent communication and written skills with the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and speaking
• Familiarity with ARM architecture and design experience in the field of embedded microprocessor and systems-on-chip preferred
