ARM has two major activities underway for the second half of this year.  The first is the successful development and execution of their largest US event - ARM TechCon, October 29-31 at the Santa Clara Convention Center, CA.  In its seventh year, ARM TechCon is ranked one of the top three must-attend events in the embedded sector. Its notability within the industry is driven by its future-forward significance and its beyond-conference format. ARM TechCon is uniquely a 360-degree interactive training ground seeded with seminars, collaborative classes, work lab sessions, demonstrations and panel discussions, offering chip designers/system implementation engineers and software developers a comprehensive forum for understanding how to design and develop ARM-based solutions.
A key element of TechCon is the participation of ARM’s extensive eco-system of partners which currently exceeds 1,000 members.  These partners participate in a broad range of activities from presenting papers and technical talks to exhibiting or conducting demonstrations and hands-on labs.
The second program is the internal and external introduction of a brand project.  
ARM is looking for an experienced marketer that is enthusiastic, industrious and self starter to join the Corporate Marketing team on a six month contract basis, to assist in the successful execution of both projects.  The job requires strong project management skills and experience in coordinating multiple partners’ participation in a multi-tiered partner program.  
• Candidate’s focus will be split between:
1.  acting as a liaison and facilitator with ARMs ecosystem and the ARM partner relations team to assist in the coordination of our partners’ participation in TechCon.
2. As a project manager for the internal and external roll out of a new marketing program
Responsibilities will include:
• Working with ARM’s event management and partner relations teams to assist in the development and delivery of materials for any partner focused activity for TechCon.
• Strong interface with the partner’s event management, Marcom and possibly creative teams to develop and execute planned activities for TechCon including, exhibits, presentations, special hosted functions, lead gen activities or social media.  
• Acting as the program manager for one or more partners to ensure seamless integration of their planned activities.  
• Assisting Marcom in obtaining any partner testimonials or content for PR activities pre, during and post event.
• Content Creation: Working with the partner’s and ARM’s creative teams to produce compelling content to help increase awareness of the partner’s activities and help drive traffic to the event.
• Working with all related ARM organizations including Marcom, Marketing, Events, Segment Marketing and Sales, in the promotion of TechCon and specific partner activities.
• Compose, edit, and proofread event materials.

Project Roll out
• Acting as the general PM for the successful and on time roll out of a new marketing program.
• Working with other team members and divisions within ARM to develop all training materials, communications and launch activities.  Will own the monitoring and management of all deliverables and milestones.
• Work closely with the Director of Corporate Marketing to ensure all project objectives are met.
• Provide updates to all stakeholders and Exec’s as needed.
• Work with ARM IT and Web teams to develop a new web portal (internal and external) for access to all materials.

Education & Qualifications
College Graduate
BA in Marketing or extensive branding experience preferred

Desired Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have many of the following skills:

• Strong writing, editing and verbal communications skills that can be applied to collateral, corporate web sites or more informal social media channels.  Strong writing skills and adaption of style to the target medium.  Preferably with past experience as a technical writer and/or editor.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Proven project management skills.  
• Comfortable working in or leading cross divisional teams.
• Strong skills in interacting with and coordinating with an eco-system of partners.
• Ability to effectively multi-task and flexibility to juggle conflicting and changing priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Proficient in brand and trademark management.
• Strong interpersonal skills including a good listener, with the ability to take input from multiple sources and filter into concise communication.
• Capable of working as a team player or independently with minimal direction or supervision.
• Previous experience with ARM products and Partner community, or in the semiconductor industry, is highly desirable.
