Introduction

Job Purpose
As an Implementation Engineer, you will be implementing blocks of varying complexity from RTL definition through the integration flow. It will also be your responsibility to understand and use a methodology flow that incorporates three different styles of implementation: synthesis, semi-custom, and custom.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

Design of semi-custom and synthesis blocks, using standard EDA tools and methodologies
   
Verification of functionality, speed, power, and design integrity of developed blocks



Education & Qualifications
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines.

Essential Skills & Experience
A minimum of 3 years of relevant, post degree design experience in a microprocessor design project at a microprocessor company.

Demonstrable experience with synthesis, place-and-route, and static timing analysis

Experience with EDA tools and flows

Understanding of microprocessors at the micro-architectural level

Proficiency in programming in PERL
