Perform all functions related to Extrusion, including but not limited to: calculating and preparing resin blends, starting-up and lining out all extruders and relaxers; changing dies and mandrels as required; monitoring and maintaining standard operating conditions as part of extrusion heat profiles; troubleshooting to correct any process problems; keeping accurate production records; and packaging finished product as required.
Seeking a second or third shift Extruder Operator. Minimum experience 3 - 5 years working in a plastics manufacturing environment. The successful candidate must be quality conscious, possess a strong work ethic and be comfortable working in a team environment. A background in maintenance, machining or extrusion experience is a definite plus. Applicant must be able to troubleshoot and be mechanically inclined.
