Position Description ***This is an Online Fulltime Faculty Position***Instruct and facilitate meaningful learning of the course competencies in the curriculum and proactively support all facets of the online learning environment to support an exceptional student experience. Provide career education through learner-centered instruction that will enable graduates to fulfill the evolving needs of the marketplace. Encourage a culture of learning that values and strives to achieve mutual responsibility, life-long learning, student persistence through individual courses and an entire program, diversity, and ethics as well as personal and professional development. Possess qualifications to teach a variety of classes within the specified program area (four courses per academic quarter). Position Requirements Doctorate degree, previous college-level teaching experience, and work-place experience directly related to Nursing. At least 6 months of online teaching experience with excellent teaching skills as evidenced in prior teaching evaluationsHigh-level technology proficiency, with relevant software proficiency as required by the specified subject domainStrong commitment to the online education missionExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent critical thinking and decision-making skillsAbility to work from a home office as part of a virtual teamWillingness to work in an accelerated learning format teaching four courses per academic quarter and to work online with students on a daily basis for five of seven days per week
