Senior Analyst of Financial Planning – Wholesale Apparel

Our focus is on achieving long-term growth by delivering the most innovative product and brand strategies in the market.

We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst of Financial Planning. This role is responsible for the day-to-day financial support of wholesale apparel. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Work with management team on creation of annual budgets
  • Prepare and review profit and loss statements with all division heads
  • Financial performance analysis and reporting
  • Provide the corporate group with segment and brand reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of 10Q and 10K reports
  • Assist in the preparation of variance schedules and segment/distribution schedules
  • Assist in financial modeling
  • Various day to day financial and operational projects as they arise
  • Active role in the monthly projection and planning meetings
  • Cost/benefit analysis for business opportunities and operational projects
  • Facilitate monthly projection process
  • Assist in preparation of the 5 year plans
  • Liaison with business leaders, inventory planning & strategic planning
  • Liaise with the accounting team in Bristol to ensure accuracy of the financial close

  • Bachelor's Degree required (CPA or MBA preferred)
  • 5 years of financial and operational experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills required, including Hyperion, SAP FICO, Focus, Word and Excel
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Deadline driven
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High mathematical skills - Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.  Able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
